Susie graduated with a BBioMedSci(Hons) degree in Reproduction, Development and Genetics in 2016.   

Susie's PhD research is investigating the expression of novel microRNAs during male and female brain development using the mouse model.  This project makes use of section in situ hybridisation, qPCR and small RNA-sequencing technologies. Susie was awarded a University of Otago Doctoral Scholarship.
